Homeless Heroes Day helps Georgia companies with a vision for hands-on philanthropy and a desire to create the impact, not just fund it break free from the shackles of ‘boring philanthropy.’ By bringing together forward-thinking companies from across the state, the materials needed to assemble thousands of backpacks, and the know-how to execute their distribution effectively, The Backpack Project provides all of the resources necessary to facilitate your team’s hands-on community service experience.
Homeless Heroes Day is an opportunity for employees to come together to engage in (friendly) competition, learn about homelessness as a social issue, and interact with homeless clients as you hand-deliver backpacks. The atmosphere is designed to be exciting, educational, and meaningful - our goal is to make your company’s community service outing one of the best days of the year.
